Description
Auto-Select Delivery Warehouse
The key feature of the Auto Select Delivery Warehouse module is the ability to
automatically select the warehouse from which the delivery will be made to the customer.
This feature is particularly useful for businesses with multiple warehouses or those that
operate in different regions or countries.
-
Client-based warehouse selection:The module allows businesses to set up specific
warehouses for specific clients. This means that when a customer places an order, the
system will automatically select the warehouse that is designated for that particular client.
This feature is particularly useful for businesses that have long-term contracts
with certain clients and need to ensure that their orders are always fulfilled from a specific warehouse. -
State-based warehouse selection:The module also allows businesses to select the warehouse based on the
state or region in which the delivery needs to be made. This is particularly useful for businesses that operate in multiple states or regions and want
to ensure that orders are fulfilled from the warehouse that is closest to the customer’s location. -
Country-based warehouse selection: The module also enables businesses to select the
warehouse based on the country in which the delivery needs to be made. This is particularly usefu
l for businesses that operate in multiple countries and want to ensure that orders are fulfilled
from the warehouse that is closest to the customer’s location. -
In summary, Auto Select Delivery Warehouse module is a powerful tool for businesses
that want to streamline their warehouse and delivery operations. With its client, state,
and country-based warehouse selection features, businesses can ensure that orders are always
fulfilled from the most appropriate warehouse, resulting in faster delivery times and improved

As you can see, we have already created three warehouses, namely warehouse 1, 2, and 3.
The default warehouse is San Francisco. You can create Warehouse by clicking on the CREATE button.
- Go to Contacts -> Select a Customer -> EDIT -> Set the Warehouse
-
In this case, We have taken Layla Nelson as an example and Warehouse 1 has been selected for
Layla over here. The country and state of Layla are Australia and Victoria, respectively, as can be seen
in the screenshot above. Now, let’s set “Warehouse 2” for the Victoria state and “Warehouse 3” for the Australia country.
-
Contacts -> Configuration -> Countries -> (Select country) -> EDIT -> Select Warehouse -> SAVE -
Contacts -> Configuration -> Fed. States -> (Select States) -> EDIT -> Select Warehouse -> SAVE
-
One thing to keep in mind is that if we configure warehouses for the state of Victoria and the country of Australia,
then the warehouses of every other customer who is from the state of Victoria and the country of Australia will automatically be set accordingly.
-
Now look, Warehouse 1 is automatically selected in Lyla’s sales order in the screenshot below.
-
Now that Warehouse 1 has been removed from Layla’s profile, you can see that
Warehouse 2 (Victoria State) has been automatically selected for Layla’s sales order.
-
Now that Warehouse 2 has been removed from Victoria State, you can see that Warehouse 3 (Australia Country) has been automatically selected for Layla’s sales order.
